Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 2026. A clear and transparent outline of our cancellation and refund policies for professional web services.
1. Overview
Because web development, design, and software engineering involve custom work tailored specifically to each client, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties while accounting for allocated engineering time and resources.
2. Project Cancellation Prior to Work Commencement
If a client decides to cancel a project before any discovery, design, or development work has commenced, the initial deposit may be refunded minus any incurred payment gateway or administrative processing fees.
3. Cancellation During Active Development
If a project is cancelled after work has commenced:
- Fees will be calculated proportionally based on milestones reached and hours dedicated to design, coding, or architecture.
- Any work completed up to the cancellation notice date will be handed over to the client.
- Amounts covering work already delivered and accepted are non-refundable.
4. Non-Refundable Expenses
Third-party direct costs incurred on behalf of the client—such as domain name registrations, specialized hosting infrastructure, third-party software licenses, or paid API keys—are strictly non-refundable as they are managed by third-party vendors.
5. Cancellation Procedure
To request a project cancellation or discuss billing, please send a written request to hello@codexbro.online with your project reference details.
